What does the service cost? Ecotextsmart does not charge anything for its service;
however your carrier's text messaging fee may still apply. We can send your text messages
without charging a fee because all messages are ad sponsored. A short ad is placed at the
bottom of the alert.
How can I promote my EcoTextSmart messaging service to customers? Here are
just a few examples on how you can promote and build your list:
* Call to action signs within your establishment. These can be placed anywhere
from plasma screens, the front door, on tables and at point-of-sale registers. Ex: Text
(your keyword is here) to 83930.
* Include your opt-in message on all your promotional items such as event flyers,
email campaigns, website, business cards, magazine, on your sales receipts and print ads.
Is there a limit to how many messages I can send customers? Mobile
Marketing Association guidelines suggest you send no more than 4 to 6 messages per month.
What does it cost for a customer to receive a text message? Some carriers
do not charge their customers to receive text messages. Other carriers include a certain
number of text messages in their standard plans.
How long can a text message be? Our standard text message is limited
to 130 characters. Characters are letters, numbers, spaces, symbols, and punctuations.
What does it mean to Opt-In or Opt-Out? To opt-in is to join your
customer list. Subscriber opt out when they quit your list. Users can do this quickly
and simply by replying to any text message you send them with the word STOP.
Why can I not use a brand name as my keyword? Ecotextsmart supports
company brands and honors legal trademarks and copyright material.
